A LETTER FROM MARTHA - NOW ATTENDING UNIVERSITY
I'm Martha Loza Lopez. Since I was little girl, I needed to work to help my parents with all the household expenses. Sometimes I had to miss classes because I had to work to eat and to pay school fees... My family and I were laborers and they pay us very little.
With a lot of effort I finished the high school but no longer had the money resources and the support of anyone to pursue a profession. I went 2 years without studying. I still can't keep that desire from my mind yet to continue studying to become a professional so I can help my family and friends in need or be able to give my support as you gave me support and help.
I considerer myself a responsible and serious person, I like to do sports and I would love to study Public Accounting because I like numbers and it is more common today.
That's why I'm asking you for help. Because my life has been so hard and sad for me, wishing my economic situation would be different, because I couldn't have things such as dresses and food, and also that my finishing school wouldn't be such an effort working at just throwing on the garbage.
I want to be an example to follow to the Youth and Children that we can do it - we just have to make a sacrifice and keep looking forward to study because that will give us more knowledge and will bring us to succeed. I want to be proud to help people out. If you would like to help me, I will appreciate it with all my soul and for all my life. You are a such kind and loving person, I'm grateful to you.
